When designing your belt keep in mind a few things.

1. Width of belt 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2" or 1 3/4"

2. Buckle size

3. Leather color

4. Finish

5. Tooling style

6. Concho style

Also look at the size of the belt loops in the pants you wear to make sure the width of belt will fit. For woman remember if you wear low rise jeans you may need a longer belt.
